Other Shaders for Malcolm.. How?

I wish I had other shaders for my character. When I do simply selecting the character's face and applying the new shader, the skin is defective in painting. how to do correctly. I have to do for all levels of geometry character?

I'm not sure I'm following you exactly. Are you saying when you use other smooth levels, it ruins the texture?

You should apply in the non-smoothed 0 setting.

You can also render with Mental Ray to avoid using the poly smooth feature.

Regarding the pants, I don't believe there are UV's on the pants.
