Translate Malcolm forward problem

Translating Malcolm in walk stride pose forward in z together with the BODY and Leg controls (IK)- the left hip crashes inward and both legs invert.

Also tried translating forward body and IK legs together from default position and the legs start morphing and collapsing.

It appears as though the rig cannot withstand any translation forward away from origin - The legs and hips start to break down.

Any info on this?

The knees (and so most of the legs) point in toward the ctlLegPoleVectorLf and ctlLegPoleVectorRt.
Just move those along with the body.
Or in the Picker, you can see the w and h buttons near the knees. The h button will make them follow the hips automatically if that's what you want.
