Malcolm Texture

HI, I'm having a problem with Malcolm's textures, when i do a render it seems his head is a different shade than his body, but when i go in to the hypershade window and try to assign a new texture to his head to make it the same as his body i get this error

Does anyone know how i can fix this please?
