Holy moly - this was awesome! Thank you so much for creating the video Dave. The rig is insane! I seriously cannot wait to animate something with it. I duff my hat to you good sir!

Just had to create an account on this forum to say this: Thank you so much for this video! A lot of controls became a lot clearer when you know what they're supposed to do. The hands look awesome by the way, really superb rigging on those.

Thanks for the comments guys! It makes it all worthwhile. Oh.. and tell your friends about AnimSchool -- that doesn't hurt either!

Thanks a lot, Dave. It means a lot to all of us, to have a go at such a high quality rig. It takes a lot to give out something so meticulously created, out to the general public. It speaks volumes of how cool a guy you are !
Thanks again !

Just finished watching part 1. Wow that was educational, not just about using the rig for animation, but some great things to think about for rigging too. I've set up lots of rigs with bendy limbs and that kind of thing, but never put so much work into a hand rig, those extra controls for cupping make such a difference for the fist pose. Awesome stuff.

Cheers,
Brian

Thanks Brian! At Blue Sky, they put another joint mid-palm too, but I left that out.
