constraint on the cigarette

Hi all,

I'm new to both Maya and the Malcolm v.2 rig so please bear with me

I'm trying to re-use the cigarette from the Greaser outfit in Malcolm and it seems to be constrained to the body (or the head?).
How do I remove that constraint?
